Dr. Cosmas Rinaldi A. Lesmana is a senior lecturer and senior consultant in Department of Internal Medicine, Hepatobiliary Division at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital, Medical Faculty Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta. He also serves as a senior consultant Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and well-known as an expert in advance interventional endoscopy procedures (ERCP & EUS) at Digestive Disease & GI Oncology Centre, Medistra Hospital, Jakarta which is the most referred private hospital for hepatopancreatobiliary disorders. He is also appointed as the chief coordinator at Liver GI Center, Mochtar Riyadi Comprehensive Cancer Center Siloam Semanggi Hospital, Jakarta. He carried out his medical training at Diponegoro University, Semarang and postgraduate training in Internal Medicine as well as Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital, Universitas Indonesia. He underwent several additional short-courses training for basic and advanced endoscopy in Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, Hyderabad, India, Hepatology in Hopital Haut Leverage, Bordeaux, France, and Victorian Infectious Disease Reference Laboratory, Melbourne, Australia. In 2011, he further continued for portal hypertension training at Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, India and in 2015, he underwent endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) training at Baldota Institute of Digestive Science, Global Hospital, Mumbai, India. He has won several awards for his research in Liver Diseases.  Dr. Lesmana is a member of several professional associations, including Past Executive Council Member of Asian Pacific Association for The Study of the Liver (APASL), Fellow of American College of Physician (FACP), and Fellow of American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) where he received Direct Fellowship. Currently he is a member in Asian Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Group (AEG). He had been involved as workshop instructor in basic as well as interventional EUS procedures during AEG congress. He has many publications in International peer-reviewed journals in the field of liver, pancreato-biliary disorders and also in the field of endoscopy.
