My previous research during my Ph.D. has involved studies in biology and biomedical sciences, specializing in angiogenesis/vasculogenesis and stem cell biology. I have acquired expertise and skills in basic molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, and generation of pathogenic mice models throughout these years. Since in Dr. David Scadden lab as instructor, I have been trained in and applying stem cell biology to various basic and translational studies in life sciences. After joining in the Pusan national university, I’m persuing to find answers to many biologically interesting and clinically important questions in the field of hematopoietic stem cell and leukemia biology. I’m trying to investigate the role of novel gene in the setting of hematopoietic and leukemic stem cells. I will put my experiences including the novel stem cell biology techniques and insights in biomedical research to answer to biologically important and meaningful questions.
