I earned my PhD in Life and Biomolecular Sciences at Open University (UK). The PhD project was carried out at Laboratory of signal-dependent transcription-Fondazione Mario Negri Sud- Department of Translational Pharmacology (Chieti, Italy) and spent one year prior to coming to the University of Bari as a post-doctoral fellow in cancer genetics at the Medical Genetics Laboratory-Department of Scienze Biomediche ed Oncologia Umana, Università degli Studi di Bari (Italy). Actually, I am working as a research scientist at Medical Genetics Laboratory-IRCCS De Bellis (Castellana Grotte, Italy). My primary research interests are cancer genetics, epigenetics, molecular and cellular biology, translational research, and the studies of molecular mechanisms in signal transduction, autophagy, and cell death. I have published or am in the process of publishing research on these topics.
