Dr. Choi is a Research Scientist at The University of British Columbia, Canada. Her research interests include cell and molecular biology, regenerative medicine, biomaterials and nanomaterials and single-cell analysis. Dr. Choi has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles and 8 patents. Her works have been highlighted in media such as Elsevier’s Summer Chemistry Collection, Lab on a Chip Theme Collection, X-MOL News, Wiley Materials Views, Advanced Science News, Science in the City, Bentham Science Editor’s Choice and Essential Science Indicator (Highly Cited Papers) etc. She serves as a member of Elsevier’s Innovation Panel, Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of more than 30 international journals including Chemical Reviews, Advanced Science, ACS Nano, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces, Lab on a Chip, Analytical Chemistry, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Nature Scientific Report etc. She also serves as a Guest Editor of Frontiers in Chemistry, Stem Cells International, Biosensors and Micromachines.
