Figure 2 Overall survival of patients without acute pancreatitis and with moderate or severe acute pancreatitis. Survival of patients without acute pancreatitis (n = 198) and with moderate or severe acute pancreatitis (n = 21) was compared. Median survival time was 22.3 mo for the non-acute pancreatitis group, and 14.9 mo for the moderate or severe acute pancreatitis group. The difference was statistically significant (P < 0.001, log rank test).
