In the early stage of necrotizing pancreatitis (NP), the most common sites of extrapancreatic infection were the blood, respiratory tract, and abdominal cavity. In the late stage of NP, the most common sites of extrapancreatic infection were the blood, respiratory tract, and urinary tract. NP: Necrotizing pancreatitis.
