1 mL stored rice bran oil (A); mast cells in the rumen have been protected by adding 4 mg horse gram lipid to the 0.1 mL stored rice bran oil instilled into the stomach (B). The tissue was stained with toluidine blue followed by 50% ethanol to decolourise the background and was examined using dark ground illumination.
