Figure 1 Distant intrahepatic recurrence curves by subsets of tumor count before RFA.
The recurrence rates after 1 and 2 years were 30.8% and 86.8%, respectively, for primary multinodular HCC and 15.4% and 29.5% respectively, for primary uninodular HCC. Primary multinodular HCC was significantly (P = 0.0136) associated with a higher distant intrahepatic recurrence rate compared with primary uninodular HCC.
Figure 2 Distant intrahepatic recurrence curves by subsets of serum albumin before RFA.
The one-year recurrence rate for patients with serum albumin of more than 3.4 g/L and less than 3.4 g/L were both 23.1%, but the two-year recurrence rates were 89.0% and 23.1%, respectively.
