Goran is senior consultant gastroenterologist at tertiary care centre which is affiliated to Medical faculty, University of Rijeka. He is serving as assistant scientific professor and head of chair of Clinical medicine at Faculty of health studies. Dr. Hauser is a leading authority and much-sought- speaker on Irritable Bowel Syndrome, ERCP and its complications. His enthusiasm helps him to quickly connect with people and make an impact on them to take action. Goran has over fifteen years of experience in endoscopy including leadership positions at Faculty of Health Studies. As the general secretary of Croatian neurogastromotility society he is member of European Neurogastro Motility Society (ESNM) steering committee. He has been a contributing writer for books, has published dozens of articles, and speaks extensively on endoscopy and IBS. Academically, Goran earned his MD from Medical faculty in Rijeka and his doctorate from University of Rijeka. Athletically, Goran has aim to run 5 km in less than 20 minutes. He enjoys in bike riding and skiing as well. Goran lives where he grew up in Rijeka where he is raising his 10-year-old son Ivan and 15 years old daughter Jelena.
