Dr. Wang is a Professor in the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Shanghai,China. In 1988, he received a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine from Shanghai second Medical University. And received a Master's degree in internal medicine from Tongji University in 2008. In order to pursue a higher academic level, he received his medical doctorate from the Second Military Medical University. His research field is mainly focused on the molecular mechanism and treatment of digestive tract tumorigenesis, and developed drug carriers based on cell vesicles and anti-tumor therapy platform. As a major applicant and collaborator, he has participated in more than 20 scientific research projects, including 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 40 papers published in international journals. He is currently the Administrative Director of the Department of Gastroenterology of Tongren Hospital affiliated to the Medical College of Shanghai Jiaotong University. He is also a member of the standing Committee of the Digestive Branch of the China Medical Promotion Association, a member of the Digestive and Nutrition Committee of the Chinese physiological Association, and a member of the Digestive Society of Shanghai Medical Association. He won the third prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the third prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
