I have focused on the studies regarding hepatitis B virus genotype C infections, including molecular pathogenesis, molecular epidemiology, development of detecction methods of hepatitis B virus genotype C2 variants related to hepatoceuular carcinoma. I also have developed peptide based antiviral drugs agaisnt hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus.
