Zhen-Dong Jin, MD, Professor in Gastroenterology, Vice-director of Gastroenterology Department, Acting Chairperson of 17th International Symposium on Endoscopic Ultrasonography, President-elect of Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, Changhai Hospital, Second/Navy Military Medical University. I am Professor Jin Zhen-Dong, currently the executive director and professor of Gastroenterology Department, Changhai Hospital in Shanghai. I engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disease using endocopy for 40 years, and my achievement is mainly in application of endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) in clinical practice. I served as executive chairman the 17th international conference on endoscopic ultrasonography in 2010. At present, I serves as Asia-pacific endoscopic ultrasonography union commissioner, executive member of digestive endoscopy expert committee in Chinese national center for quality control, president-elect of Chinese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, vice director of digestive endoscopy professional committee of Chinese Medical Association, director of ultrasonic endoscopy professional committee of Chinese Medical Association, member of Chinese Association of Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist. I also serves as associate editor in multiple high-impact journals, including Endoscopic Ultrasound Journal (IF = 5), Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy, Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. I was awarded as National Famous Doctor and Outstanding Achievement award in China and acquired special government allowance from Chinese State Council. I have published more than fifty research articles aiming for reporting the advanced methodology to perform EUS and using EUS to facilitate clinical diagnosis and therapy in multiple high-impact journal, including GUT, GIE and Endoscopy, etc. My h-index is 29.
