Dr. Myeong Jun Song is assistant professor for Hepatology and Gastroenterology in Daejeon St. Mary’s hospital, where he is involved in both clinical practice and research. He is also focusing on the development and delivery of CME for physicians. He received his medical degree from the Catholic University of Korea in Seoul and completed his hepatology and gastroenterology residency at the Catholic Graduate School of Medicine. He is board certified in Hepatology and gastroenterology and has a special interest in the treatment and prediction of chronic liver disease and liver cancer. Dr. Song is a member of such notable medical associations as the Korean Academy of Internal medicine, Korean Society of Gastroenterology, Korean Association for the Study of the Liver, Korean Liver Cancer study group. With his expertise in the HCC, local and interventional therapy and molecular imaging including PET/CT research, he has published papers and abstracts concerning HCC. He is involving the many multicenter clinical trial including REALM study, Asia-Pacific GIDEON study phase IV trial and Creavax-HCC (autologous dendritic cell) for HCC phase II trial etc. Innovative, translational and longstanding clinical research has ever been a pursuit in his academic career.
