Figure 1 Involvement of epithelial-mesenchymal transition in therapy resistance in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is induced by various factors including signaling pathways, EMT-activating transcription factors (EMT-TFs), microRNAs, or microenvironment. Promotion of the EMT program enhances the chemoresistance in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
