Apical-to-basal strain ratio was calculated as the ratio of mean apical strain value to basal strain value through bull’s eye map. Apical-to-basal work ratio was calculated as the ratio of mean apical work index value to basal work index value through bull’s eye map. Controls A and B were males over 60 years of age without cardiovascular diseases. LVEF: Left ventricular ejection fraction; LVGWI: Left ventricular global myocardial work index; LVGWE: Left ventricular global myocardial work efficiency; LVGCW: Left ventricular global constructive myocardial work; LVGWW: Left ventricular global wasted myocardial work; LVGLS: Left ventricular global longitudinal strain.
