Figure 3 C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate of the patients. After treatment, the levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) decreased significantly when compared to that at the time of admission (CRP normal range 0-3 mg/L, ESR normal range 0-20 mm/h).
