ORs are adjusted for ethnicity, age, sex, Elixhauser score, simplified acute physiology score, SOFA, Glasgow Coma Scale, craniotomy, max creatinine, creatinine at admission, use of antiplatelet drugs, anticoagulant, vancomycin, angiotensin receptor blocker/angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor and aminoglycosides, transfusion, red blood cell, plasma and shock. P values < 0.05 were considered statistically significant.
