A-E: Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma [A, hematoxylin-eosin (HE), × 200] showed positive immunohistochemical staining for chromogranin A (B, × 200), synaptophysin (C, × 200) and P53 (D, × 200). The Ki-67 index was approximately 60% (E, × 200); F-J: Small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (F, HE, × 400) showed positive immunohistochemical staining for chromogranin A (G, × 200), synaptophysin (H, × 200) and P53 (I, × 200). The Ki-67 index was approximately 60% (J, × 200).
