Although the number of patients with or without left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) were not significantly different, the trend showed a lower incidence of LVH in Group 1 (33%) vs Group 2 (56%) and a corresponding higher number lacking LVH in Group 1 (67%) vs Group 2 (44%).
