Figure 2 Receiver operating characteristic curve related to levels of serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, aspartate aminotransferase and alanine transaminase on the third day of hospitalization in relation with patients’ death.
Based on the levels under the curve, confidence interval of 95% was determined for creatinine on the third day 0.90 [between 0.83-0.97 (P = 0.000)], for BUN on the third day 0.80 [between 0.69-0.91 (P = 0.000)], for AST on the third day 0.85 [between 0.58-1.00 (P = 0.008)], and for ALT on the third day 0.79 [between 0.57-1.00 (P = 0.028)]. BUN: Blood urea nitrogen; AST: Aspartate aminotransferase; ALT: Alanine transaminase.
