¹AT-treated group received continuous unfractionated heparin from day 3. One thousand six hundred and sixty-seven U/patient daily as did the controls;

²The controls had less inhalation injury (14% vs 50%) and the %TBSA was much lower (17 ± 17 vs 36 ± 24);

³Calculations for the loading dose were 97 U/kg per loading dose and the next 9 doses were at 2/3 of the loading dose;
