This figure shows the difference in length of time in the intensive care unit among the three severity groups. For the mild compromise group, the median length of time in the pediatric intensive care unit was 17.6 h (IQR: 13-29), moderate compromise group for 26.5 h, with a (IQR: 17.3-39.4), and the severe compromise group for 35.6 h (IQR: 22.2-49.6) (P = 0.001).
