In right hip there is evident loosening of the femoral stem and extensive metaphyseal cancellous bone loss with some diaphyseal bone loss, which is limited to less than 4 cm of diaphyseal bone; B: AP radiograph of the same hip post revision using an extensively porous coated stem.
