Figure 1 X-ray shots of unicortical and intraprosthetic screw anchorage. The figure shows the different fixation techniques evaluated in this study. Commonly used unicortical screw fixation with only a short anchoring distance and experimental intraprosthetic fixation with superior primary fixation stability.
