A: T2-weighted axial image of the pelvis at the level of midgland of the prostate shows a marked hypointensity in the left peripheral zone and disruption of the “capsule”, distorting the normal anatomy of the left neurovascular bundle with measurable extracapsular extension (ESUR Score 5); B and C: ADC map (B) and DWI-images (C) demonstrate a significant restriction of diffusion, with hypointensity in the ADC and hyperintensity in the DWI-images that extend beyond the prostate “capsule” (arrows).
