Figure 3 Histopathologic analysis of preoperative wound specimens. Some of the epithelium undergoes exfoliation and necrosis, and heterogeneous cells are observed in the dermis, infiltrating the skin in a multifocal manner, predominantly around blood vessels and skin appendages.
