Impact of comorbid renal dysfunction in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma on long-term outcomes after curative resection

In patients with stage 4 or 5 chronic kidney disease who did not require maintenance hemodialysis, the estimated glomerular filtration rate (EGFR) values did not decrease after the operation (n = 13). Furthermore, no patient received maintenance hemodialysis after the operation. The EGFR values were measured before and one month after hepatectomy.
