Figure 1 Plantamajoside: A potentially novel botanical agent for diabetes mellitus management.
Multiple forms of regulated cell death (RCD) in pancreatic β-cells, including apoptosis, pyroptosis, ferroptosis and autophagy, are closely involved in the initiation and progression of diabetes mellitus (DM). Plantamajoside may mitigate DM progression through protecting β-cells from various RCD. The schematic model was plotted with BioRender (https: //www.biorender.com). TCM: Traditional Chinese medicine.
