Figure 1 Key features of smart wards for patients with diabetes.
Smart wards designed for diabetes patients exhibit key features that enhance diabetes management. Pump integration enables real-time visualization of blood glucose and insulin infusion data, thus improving decision-making efficiency, reducing response times, and facilitating rapid blood glucose control. A centralized display of abnormal alarms assists healthcare providers in ensuring timely and effective blood glucose management. Synchronous and standardized management supports remote system oversight for diabetes care. Additionally, comprehensive data analysis generates multidimensional reports to enhance management, while localized data storage improves data security.
