Major amputation was positively correlated with procalcitonin (PCT) and negatively correlated with the ankle-brachial pressure (ABI) and transcutaneous oxygen pressure (TcPO₂), and the order of significance was PCT > TcPO₂ > the ABI. OR: Odd ratio; ABI: Ankle-brachial pressure; TcPO₂: Transcutaneous oxygen pressure; PCT: Procalcitonin.
