In both age groups, colorectal cancer (CRC) risk tended to increase with higher cardiovascular risk scores, with the younger age group showing a higher risk of CRC than the older age group (P for interaction < 0.001). In males, there was a consistent trend of increasing CRC risk, with higher cardiovascular risk scores observed in both younger and older age groups.
