Dr. Jiaqi Shi completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Michigan in 2014 followed by a Gastrointestinal Pathology fellowship also at the University of Michigan. In July 2015, Dr. Shi joined the faculty of the Department of Pathology at the University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor. She is the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. Among her many awards, Dr. Shi has won the prestigious 2011 Benjamin Castleman Award from the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). She is currently active members of the USCAP, ASCP, Pancreatobiliary Pathology Society, Rodger C. Haggitt Gastrointestinal Pathology Society, Hans Popper Hepatopathology Society, and the Michigan Society of Pathologists. Dr. Shi has both clinical and research interests in pancreas pathology. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
