A: Conventional endoscopy before dye spraying showed a depressed area, 20 mm in size, was detected at the anterior wall in the greater curvature of the gastric body. The depressed area was discolored with a reddish spot, and converging folds were also evident endoscopically; B: Chromoendoscopy after 0.4% indigo-carmine dye spraying better defined the depressed area.
