The incidence of portal vein thrombosis (PVT) in patients with cirrhosis, hepatocellular cancer (HCC) and fundic varices are shown. Also reported is the relationship between PVT and the mortality rate. Each of these pathologies and mortality rate was compared in patients with and without PVT.
