Hepatitis C eradication with sofosbuvir leads to significant metabolic changes

LDL and total cholesterol were significantly higher post hepatitis C eradication (LDL: 99.5 ± 28.9 mg/dL vs 128.3 ± 34.9 mg/dL, P < 0.001; total cholesterol 171.6 ± 32.5 mg/dL vs 199.7 ± 40.0 mg/dL, P < 0.001).
