6-gingerol (6-GIN) inhibits nucleus pulposus-derived mesenchymal stem cell apoptosis and extracellular matrix degeneration by promoting autophagy via the PI3K/Akt pathway under oxidative damage induced by hydrogen peroxide alone (H2O2 group).
