The reduced activity and low levels of uridine diphosphate glucuronosyltransferase 1A1 exacerbate endoplasmic reticulum stress, oxidative stress, and disruptions in lipid metabolism, thereby increasing hepatocyte apoptosis and necroptosis, and promoting the progression of liver injury.
