Figure 4 Effects of microwave ablation treatment on serum Golgi protein 73 levels in the enrolled patients with primary liver cancer.
The serum Golgi protein 73 (GP73) levels were examined in the primary liver cancer patients before and after microwave ablation (MWA) treatment. The serum GP73 levels were increased 1 and 2 wk after MWA. The serum GP73 levels reached the peak at 2 wk after MWA, then progressively decreased, and returned to the pretreatment levels 12 and 24 wk following the MWA treatment. GP73: Golgi protein 73.
