Binary logistic analysis showed that higher levels of ferritin and interleukin (IL)-10 in peripheral blood, earlier onset age, and presence of perianal disease suggested that inflammatory bowel disease children may have the gene mutation. However, most of the mutations (79.6%) in this study occurred in IL-10RA, and in order to avoid the bias, we did further analyses as showed in Table 6.
