Binary logistic analysis showed that white blood cell (WBC) count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, and albumin in peripheral blood could be used to identify the infantile-onset inflammatory bowel disease from AP if a child had diarrhea and hematochezia in early childhood. Higher WBC, ESR, and TNF-α, as well as lower level of albumin suggested a higher probability of inflammatory bowel disease.
