Data represent relative expression of caspase-9 normalized to the expression of housekeeping genes (actin). The results represent mean ± standard error of the mean for each group (n = 6). Statistical significance was determined using one-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett's test. No statistically significant differences were found. HEEP: Hydroalcoholic extract from the leaves of Eugenia punicifolia.
