Absolute (means ± SE) blood flow (mL/min•g) in the GI-tract of male (M) (n = 32 for all experiments) and female (F) (n = 24 for all experiments) animals, measured with the microspheres technique. The absolute blood flow in the GI-tract was generally higher in males, but only significantly different (a) in the corpus part of the stomach.
