Perfusion index in remote preconditioned animals (RIPC + IRI) is significantly higher (P < 0.05) than non-preconditioned animals (IRI). HO inhibition does not affect sinusoidal perfusion in the early stage of IR however sinusoidal perfusion declines at 180 min of reperfusion. Values expressed as mean ± SE.
