With respect to chronic hepatitis C patients, the non-IFN group, α2a group, and α2b + RBV group had VAS scores of 1.13 ± 0.29, 1.01 ± 0.56, and 3.20 ± 0.27, respectively, all of which were significantly higher than that of the control group (0.32 ± 0.26). The VAS score was significantly different between the non-IFN group and α2b + RBV group, and between the α2a group and α2b + RBV group, but the VAS score was not significantly different between the non-IFN group and α2a group.
