A: MiR-133a expression was determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and normalized against U6 RNA (an endogenous control). Expression was compared between 169 pairs of colorectal cancer tissues (T) and adjacent non-tumorous tissues (N); B: Fold changes of miR-133a of individually matched samples. Data are represented as log2 fold change (T/N) (< -1, under-expression; -1, unchanged; > 1, over-expression).
