Figure 3 Localization and structures of tight junctions in normal human pancreas.
In normal pancreatic ducts which express CK (Cytokeratin)7, occludin (OCLN), ZO-1 and claudin (CLDN)-1, -4 are observed by immunostaining. In freeze-fracture (FF) replica, well-developed tight junction strands are observed in normal pancreas.
