Figure 1 Gastric foreign body granuloma caused by an embedded fishbone. A: A computed tomography scan showed a linear calcified lesion in the stomach; B: Gastroscopy revealed a submucosal tumor in the gastric antrum; C: Endoscopic ultrasonography showed an irregular hypoechoic mass with indistinct margins in the muscularis propria layer; D: Histopathological examination showed chronic and acute inflammatory infiltrates and a foreign body granuloma in the specimen (HE, ×100).
