Using the receiver operating characteristics curve, the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease fibrosis score at baseline of -0.9 was the best cutoff value for predicting death based on a sensitivity of 62%, specificity of 76%, positive predictive value of 28%, negative predictive value of 93% and area under the curve of 0.7.
