Forest plot shows the sensitivity and specificity of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) for tuberculous peritonitis diagnosis. The point estimates of sensitivity and specificity from each study are shown as solid circles. Error bars indicated 95%CI. Numbers indicate the studies included in the meta-analysis, as cited in the reference list. Pooled estimates for IFN-γ assay were as follows: sensitivity, 0.93 (95%CI, 0.87 to 0.97), specificity, 0.99 (95%CI, 0.97 to 1.00).
