Rapid virologic response (RVR) was defined as undetectable hepatitis C virus (HCV) RNA at 4 wk during treatment. Early virologic response (EVR) was defined as undetectable HCV RNA at 12 wk during treatment. Sustained viral response (SVR) was defined as undetectable HCV RNA at 24 wk after cessation of therapy.
